Report to the trustees

The caretaker’s contractual duties toward the body corporate includes  

  • Record and submit water meter readings monthly on 25th;
  • Record and submit ESKOM meter reading monthly on 5th;
  • Obtain and issue ESKOM electricity tokens;
  • Maintenance, management and improvement of the communal facilities;
  • Management of the daily operations of the apartments;
  • Cleaning the buildings or supervising a team of workers;
  • Gardening and performing landscape duties and supervising the workers;
  • Inspecting the buildings, performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required;
  • Sourcing, booking and supervising contractors for major repairs;
  • Monitoring cleaning materials, tools, and reordering as required.
